Star Wars Invasion

West Bend West's Meghan Conley (20) takes a shot for her 1000 career points against West Bend East in West Bend on Friday night. Conley is the first to women to score 1000 career points for West Bend West high School. Conley finished with 18 points as West went onto win 41-37.

Library Wedding

70 Year Anniversary

Joe and Maybelle Weiss of West Bend will be celebrating their 70th year anniversary on January 26. The two were married in 1942. " He had his friend ask me out in High School," said Maybelle.

Wildlife photographer Lisa Husar is licked by her Golden Retriever, Nita, 3, while photographing her other Golden Retriever, Bear, 7, on Friday afternoon. Husar began photography shooting with film in 1993. This past week, Kodak filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. " Photography was Kodak. It's still sad, its like the passing of an icon," said Husar.
